The Four Bells Glamping is an independent, family-run luxury glamping destination in Hawstead, near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, England. Founded by Alex and Lucy Brewis, we welcomed our first guests in July 2023.
Our focus is simple: the freedom and character of a countryside stay, without sacrificing comfort. Our individually designed bell tents and insulated geodesic dome each have a private wood-fired hot tub and their own dedicated bathroom building. We welcome couples, families, groups of friends and guests looking to spend time outdoors together.
Bookings are made directly through our official website and Glampmanager booking system, rather than through an accommodation marketplace.
OUR ACCOMMODATION
Four distinctive stays.
Every accommodation has a private wood-fired hot tub and a separate, exclusive-use bathroom building. Individual facilities and capacities vary.
Big Ben
Sleeps up to six in two connected bell tents, with space for larger families and friends. Includes an outdoor bath and a private hot tub. Please check the accommodation page for date-specific layout details.
Emmanuel
Our dog-friendly stay, with an outdoor bath and a hot-water dog-wash facility on site. Two connected tents sleeping up to six are planned for 2027.
Santa Maria
A furnished bell tent with a fully enclosed private garden and its own hot tub, suited to couples and smaller families.
Hundred Acre View
Our insulated geodesic dome, offering countryside views and a private hot tub, with stays available beyond the summer bell-tent season.

THE EXPERIENCE
A few things worth knowing.
Included with every stay
A private wood-fired hot tub, a separate dedicated bathroom with shower, electricity, furnishings, bed linen, towels and access to on-site cooking facilities. Outdoor firepit and barbecue facilities make meals and evenings part of the experience.
Groups, dogs & access
Whole-site group bookings are advertised for up to 20 guests across the four stays. Actual capacity and accommodation layouts depend on the dates booked. Emmanuel is dog-friendly, and Santa Maria has a fully enclosed garden. The natural meadow includes uneven ground and grass pathways, so guests with access requirements should review our accessibility information before booking.
