We are committed to making our site as welcoming and accessible as possible, while being honest about the practical limitations of a rural glamping site located within a natural meadow environment.

Website Accessibility

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that our website is easy to use, straightforward to navigate, and accessible across a range of devices and technologies. This includes seeking to maintain compatibility with common screen readers and other accessibility tools wherever practical.

As a small independent business, we recognise that there may be occasions where parts of the website could be improved. Access and Parking

There is ample on-site parking available for guests.
All guest facilities at The Four Bells Glamping are located at ground level.
A ramp provides step-free access from the car park to our communal facilities, including the communal kitchen and bathroom block.
Accommodation is accessed on foot from the parking area. The walking distance varies by unit, with the furthest accommodation located approximately 100 metres from the car park.
The site is designed to minimise changes in elevation wherever possible.

The Nature of the Site

The Four Bells Glamping is situated within a natural meadow setting. In order to preserve the character of the landscape and support local wildlife, some areas of the site feature grass pathways, uneven ground, natural dips, and softer surfaces.

Whilst many guests navigate the site comfortably, these natural features may present challenges for some individuals with mobility requirements. We encourage guests to contact us if they would like more detailed information about specific areas of the site.

Accommodation

Hundred Acre View

Hundred Acre View was designed with accessibility in mind and includes:

A spacious bathroom with additional manoeuvring space that may be helpful for some wheelchair users and guests with reduced mobility.
Minimal changes in floor level throughout the accommodation.
Ground-level access to key living spaces.

Whilst we have sought to make the accommodation easier to navigate, we recommend discussing any specific requirements with us before booking.

Geodesic Dome

The Geodesic Dome benefits from a larger internal floor area due to its design, providing additional space for movement within the accommodation. Some guests with mobility requirements may find this helpful, although suitability will depend on individual circumstances.

Beds

All accommodation units feature relatively low beds. Many guests find these easier to access when transferring from a wheelchair or when mobility is limited, although individual requirements may vary.

Neurodiversity, SEND and Sensory Considerations

Our accommodation units are intentionally spaced apart, creating a peaceful environment with plenty of personal space between guests.

Many visitors appreciate the quieter atmosphere and reduced proximity to neighbouring accommodation, which some individuals with sensory sensitivities, autism, ADHD, or other SEND requirements may find more comfortable and relaxing.

Santa Maria Enclosed Garden

Santa Maria benefits from a fully enclosed garden area. Guests have regularly commented that this provides additional peace of mind, particularly for families with young children or those who may be prone to wandering.

Whilst the enclosed space may be beneficial for some guests, we are unable to guarantee safety in all circumstances and appropriate supervision remains the responsibility of guests and carers.

Assistance During Your Stay

We understand that some guests may require additional assistance during their stay, particularly when arriving, departing, or moving luggage around the site.

As a family-run business, we live very close by and are always happy to help where we can. If you require assistance with luggage or have any accessibility-related concerns during your stay, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Our contact details can be found in our digital guidebook, which is sent to guests approximately one week before arrival. We are also available by phone throughout your stay should you need support or assistance.

Hot Tubs

All hot tubs are accessed via standard steps.

Unfortunately, we do not currently provide hoists, transfer equipment, lifts, or other specialist apparatus to assist guests in entering or exiting the hot tubs. Guests should therefore consider whether they can use these facilities safely and comfortably, either independently or with assistance from members of their own party.
